House Rules

Complying with these House Rules at the Property is a requirement of the vacation rental agreement. Failure to adhere to the below House Rules may result in penalties such as deductions from the security deposit.

1. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

All Guests (and any Visitors) must comply with all House Rules and any other instructions from the

Property Manager Lorray Maurigi during their stay; and Guests must notify the Property Manager of any

disputes or complaints from neighbors as soon as reasonably practicable.

2. NOISE AND THE NEIGHBORHOOD

This Rental is suitable for children under the age of 17 Guests are fully responsible for the safety and

security of their children at all times, as well as any disturbance caused to other residents in the

Neighborhood; Guests and Visitors must keep noise to a minimum as not to disturb the occupants of

neighboring properties – especially during nighttime hours (e.g. 10pm – 8am), and upon arrival and

departure; Excessive noise is prohibited at all times and may result in termination of the rental

agreement, eviction, loss of rental paid and extra charges which may be deducted from the Security

Deposit;

3. VISITORS

Guests are allowed a maximum of 2 Visitors at any time during their stay. Guests are responsible for

ensuring maximum visitor numbers are not exceeded; and that Visitors are complicit with these House

Rules. Any additional overnight Visitors must be approved in advance during the booking process and

are subject to an additional fee as noted in the price.

4. FUNCTIONS

Parties and large gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited at the Rental; and any small gathering

must comply with other rules set regarding Noise, the Neighborhood and Visitor numbers.

5. PARKING

Guests and any Visitors are to comply with parking regulations and other requirements set out below

and show consideration to neighbors and other vehicles; and Parking arrangements at the Rental are as

follows: 2 parking spaces per unit please do not park on the street.

6. GARBAGE AND RECYCLING

Guests and their Visitors are to dispose of Garbage and Recycling in accordance with the usual practice

at the Rental (as set out below) in the allocated trash cans, and excess rubbish must not be left in public

or common areas; and Garbage and Recycling arrangements at the Rental are as follows: Place all

garbage in green receptacles on the outside of the unit.

7. SECURITY

Any time Guests leave the Rental, it is their responsibility to ensure all windows and doors are

closed/locked to maintain security and prevent rain and water damage. Guests must switch off lights, air

conditioning, fans, electronics such as televisions when not in use to promote energy saving.

8. GOLF CARTS

Please Park any rented golf carts on the driveway or under the carport, not on the lawn.

9. BALCONY AND DECK AREAS

Guests must always supervise any babies and children when using the Deck and Balcony areas. Specific

Deck and Balcony rules are as follows: Please do not allow children to run/play on stairs or deck.

10. SMOKING

Smoking is not permitted inside the unit; and Cigarette butts must be disposed of properly and not

thrown on property grounds. Failure to do so will result in a deduction from the security deposit.

11. PETS

Pets are not permitted at the Rental; Specific rules regarding Pets at the rental are as follows: pets are

not allowed at any of our units because we use cleaning products that contain essential oils that may be

harmful to animals.

12. BARBECUE

Charcoal grills are located on the outside of each unit, grilling utensils are in the kitchen. No grilling

allowed on the decks, porches or carports.

13. DAMAGES AND BREAKAGES

All Damages and Breakages must be reported to the Property Manager as soon as reasonably

practicable. Failure to report them will likely result in a penalty deduction from the security deposit.

And; To avoid Damages and Breakages, no furniture is to be moved from one room to another without

prior agreement. Also; No bathroom towels are to be removed from the property (i.e. for beach use).

Separate beach towels are provided for this purpose. a)

14. CHECK-OUT ARRANGEMENTS

Rules for key handover, security, cleaning, garbage, etc. are as follows:

  • Dirty towels placed on floor in front of washing machine

  • Thermostat to cool at 74* (summer) and heat to 68* (winter) before checkout.

  • Take out all trash and place it in the green receptacles next to the unit.

  • Please place all dirty dishes in dishwasher and run before leaving.

  • Lock door and text 228-493-3890 upon departure

16. COMPLIANCE

Breach of any of these House Rules is a breach of the Terms and Conditions of occupancy as per the

Rental Agreement. The Owner and Manager reserve the right to terminate permission to occupy and to

evict from the Rental any Guests or Visitors who refuse to follow these House Rules or who cause a

nuisance to neighbors or other residents of the community.
